David Oropeza

Managing Partner

David Oropeza is a Managing Partner at ICON Real Estate Advisors and a highly accomplished multifamily investment sales professional with nearly 40 years of experience. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than $4 billion in transactions, representing over 22,000 apartment units.

David co-founded ICON after a distinguished 38-year tenure at Gebroe-Hammer Associates, where he consistently ranked among the firm’s top producers and played a pivotal role in expanding its presence across New Jersey. He later joined Cushman & Wakefield as an Executive Managing Director of Multifamily Brokerage, further enhancing his experience in institutional brokerage.

Known for his deep market knowledge, strategic insight, and unwavering client advocacy, David has advised a wide range of private and institutional clients. His ability to structure and execute complex transactions has made him a trusted advisor and respected leader in New Jersey’s multifamily investment sales community.

David Jarvis

Managing Partner

David Jarvis is a Managing Partner at ICON Real Estate Advisors and a seasoned expert in the Northern New Jersey multifamily market, with more than $7 billion in career transaction volume.

He began his real estate career in 1994 managing his family’s portfolio and went on to spend over 25 years at Gebroe-Hammer Associates, where he consistently ranked as one of the top producers. He later served in a senior leadership role on Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey Multifamily Team, further cementing his status as a market leader.

David has advised a broad range of institutional and private clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets, including value-add, rent-regulated, and REO properties. With his decades of experience, strategic approach, and long-standing relationships, David is a trusted voice in New Jersey’s dynamic multifamily market.

Justin Lupo

Senior Managing Director

Justin Lupo is a Managing Director at ICON Real Estate Advisors and a seasoned multifamily investment sales professional with over a decade of experience. He has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor, known for his strategic insight and consistent execution across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast markets.

Throughout his career, Justin has represented private investors, institutions, and developers in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets, offering deep expertise in valuation, asset positioning, and deal structuring.
Prior to joining ICON, Justin served as Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he co-led the Northeast multifamily platform.

He previously held the role of Senior Vice President at The Kislak Company, where he achieved the highest single-year sales record in the firm’s 100+ year history.

David Betesh

Director

David Betesh is a leading multifamily investment sales advisor in Northern New Jersey, known for driving top-of-market results across Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties. Since 2023, he has closed more than $225 million across 30+ transactions and 1,060+ units, representing the region’s most active private investors, family offices, and institutional owners.

Recognized for his ability to merge precise underwriting with sophisticated buyer targeting, David consistently elevates value on rent-regulated, free-market, stabilized, and newly built core assets—often in assignments where execution risk is high and nuance matters.

Before joining ICON and previously Cushman & Wakefield, David built a standout career in Film & Television. He worked in the Television Packaging Department at CAA, became Head of Global Sales for a studio within WarnerMedia’s portfolio, and co-founded Utopia, the award-winning independent film distributor behind some of the most talked-about emerging and established creative forces including Errol Morris, Lena Dunham, Gaspar Noé, and Rachel Sennott. David is a graduate of New York University.

Ben is known for bringing structure and discipline to the transaction process. His approach is analytical, process-driven, and built around accountability from launch through closing.

Prior to entering the Real Estate Industry, Ben had a successful career in advertising, serving as a Director at DirecTV and overseeing $350M+ in yearly revenue. His background in sales operations and team leadership enables him to bring structure, accountability, and strategic thinking to the investment process, earning the trust of clients in a competitive marketplace.
